Allison Burton graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. While working toward her degree, she became a member of Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society. She currently works as Team Leader at her local public library branch, a job she enjoys because it allows her to help tailor the library to better suit her community’s needs. She also wrote a weekly newspaper article for her library for two years, which was published in each of her county’s newspapers: The People’s Defender, The Informer, and the Manchester Signal. Having grown up in a drug-ravaged town, Allison uses her knowledge of social issues like drug abuse and trafficking to inspire her action-packed novels and encourage her readers to enact change in their lives and society. When she’s not working or writing, you can find Allison nose-deep in various YA and adult novels, often while warding off her rambunctious cat. Her current works-in-progress are a YA urban fantasy entitled The Alchemist’s Ghost and a YA thriller series called The League.
